Game Setup
In the beginning of the game each player chooses a box of tokens, containing 100 tokens of the same color.
Then the board is set up.
The game cards are shuffled and are placed next to the board face down.
Board Setup
Take out any 4 square boards and place them on the table so that at least one side of any given board touches the other board. The final board can take on any shape: it can end up being a square, or a rectangle, or even a T shape.
Example:
Island’s edge can not touch the outside of the full board.
