The goal is to get your very own unique SMS PET.

Start the Game

1. Register you mobile email address with SMS PETS.
2. Login. Get an SMS EGG on our site. Name it!!!
3. Start Playing!

Playing the Game
SMS PETS are fascinated with the world that surrounds them. However, once they are born they know only 4 emotions. Which are
:-) happy
:-( sad
:-/ angry
:-? Curious
By increasing your SMS PET’s understanding of the world, your pet has a chance of becoming the smartest and the most exotic looking SMS PET.
There are several activities that you can do with your pet, that will increase their chance of becoming the best pet there is.

1. Send your pet an sms.
   Just check up on how he is doing, he will love it.
   Example
   You can sms your pet:
   I like having an SMS Pet
   or
   @}—‘--,---
   
2. Play with your pet by answering his questions and solving the puzzles
   a) When you get an sms from your pet just think which one of the 4 emotions that he knows best represents it.
   Example:
   Your pet smsed you:
   I have a lot of friends, and you are my best one
   Your answer should be:
   :-)
   b) When you get an sms that has ___ in it, replace ___ with the appropriate emoticon.
   Example:
   Your pet smsed you:
   Nobody really cares if you're ___, so you might as well be happy.
   You should answer:
   :-(
   c) Sometimes the pet will send you an anagram. You have to solve it, and it will give you a clue as to which emotion the pet had in mind.
   Example:
   Your pet smsed you:
   amber isle
   You have to decipher this anagram. The answer is miserable. So you should sms to the pet:
   :-(
   
3. You can play with other SMS PETS
   All you need to know is the name of the SMS PET and you can send its owner a puzzle
   When you create puzzles for other SMS PETS you get extra interaction points! And you get more points if the other person was able to solve your puzzle.
   The format for sending a puzzle to another SMS PET:
   @ask NAME_OF_PET@ answer question
   Example:
   @ask Bobby@ (_)3 Draw me a beer mug
   or
   
   @ask Bobby@ rainbow I loved the ___ that we saw on our trip.

Don't forget that your every action or lack of action effects the look of your SMS PET!!!

Best SMS PET Contest
Once your pet grows up to become a young adult it can enter Best SMS PET Contest. The Contest runs every week. Only regestered players can vote for their favorite SMS PET. The SMS PETS with the most votes wins.
